The Changes We Have Made

One of the most important benefit of 8th decade political changes in afghanistan is that besides government and international society; civil actives take an important part in the reconstruction of the society. This participation pave the way for civil societies and many other civil foundation start working. However, helping and assisting are custom and religious treat in our society, but our people were not familiar with such kinds of organized movements. During the 13 years the important advantage of civil movements is that female just like male encourage for volunteer services. For the purpose of women rights and carry their voices to the government especially by women. On the other hand, many civil societies of women start working and able to bring changes in women lives in various sections. Civil societies try to bring changes in women social rights, Education, health, jobs and various other parts in their activities according to Afghanistan basic laws. the problems of women have been described by women and steps have been taken for the solutions.

Heela Organization has been implementing various projects like other civil societies in public awareness, education, recruitment , welfare, vocational training's in the eastern zone for the betterment of women lives. Established In 2009, Heela Organization has received work permit from The Ministry of Justice for the purpose of implementing its welfare, vocational and educational activities legally. It officially started working in the East zone.

Heela Organization works in welfare, vocational and educational sectors for the better of women lives in East Zone. Heela Organization has tried to financially support itself by women vocational trainings. Similar, Heela Organization has provided basic education trainings for uneducated women, beside has provided workshops and seminars for capacity building of women in order to find fair jobs. Heela Organization has helped some poor people, widows, orphans, the examples of activities are as follows.

For the purpose of clean and green-rich environment Heela Organization has been growing trees and plants in girls school and women organizations with the continued help of Nangarhar Directorate of Education. Nargis Radio (Partner Radio) has broadcasted the activities for the purpose of popularization of growing plants.

(Radio Program)

The helpline for Repressed Women.

Hotline Project has started for emergency help for women. Through this way women can share their daily problems by mobile and take advice for the solution. This program has been broadcasting through Nargis Radio. This program is always available for women.

Nargis Wagma

The female poets of Afghanistan

Nargis Wagma is the eastern female poets collection of poetry (Adabi Tazkira). About (200) female poets from Langman, Kunar, Nangarhar provinces poetries has collected for this AdabiTazkira. Among these all, 60 women poets poetries has selected as best poetry. Along with biographies of selected poets the examples of poetries also printed in Collection Poetry


Carpet Weaving Workshop

An opportunity To Learn

Over 500 Women have been trained in the field of Carpet weaving in the district of Dari-E-Noor of Nangarhar Province. They have learned various skills in the field of rug sewing through this vocational training. Currently, they work and financially support their families.

Nargis Radio

Established on 11th September 2007, is a Radio station run by women for women. It is aimed at
production and broadcasting of programs mainly focused at social life of women in Afghan society;
the radio promotes awareness about the role of women in the community development.

Sharq Television

Sharq TV is a Pashto language private television station based in Jalalabad, Afghanistan that is owned by Shaiq Network.  it was launched in mid 2008. The channel broadcasts 24 hours a day, providing educational, news, shows, dramas, and entertaining programs to the eastern zone of Afghanistan. Sharq TV programs are mainly (90%) in pashto language.

Afghan Women's Network

Afghan Women's Network is a non-partisan and non-profit network, whose members are formed of women, women's organizations and bodies working for women. The AWN envisions an Afghanistan  in which women & men  live  in a  justice and discrimination  free  society.



The Afghanistan Committee for Peace, Reconstruction and Culture e. V. (short Afghanistan Committee) is a non-profit association that was initially founded in Munich in 1996. it has established itself in Berlin during the short reactivation period and enjoys a high reputation among local Afghans and German citizens interested in Afghanistan.
